We look forward to seeing our New England and Atlantic Coast friends at the Yoga Journal Boston Conference.   If you are in the area and want to help out or touch base, drop us a line.  We would love to see you there.

Yoga Journal Colorado Conference - September 19 - 26, 2010

Our work at the Colorado Yoga Journal conference in 2009 was very successful.  Together with the Yoga Journal conference team, we eliminated the need for 8000 plastic water bottles by providing stainless steel bottles and filtered water.  Read about it in LA Yoga magazine.

 

We will build on this success in 2010 by tapping into the great energy of the Rocky Mountain yoga community.  Want to help?

 

Yoga Journal Florida Conference - November 11 - 14, 2010

Bringing green efforts to the beach-side location of this conference will be especially rewarding as we put our practice into action next to one of nature's great facets... the ocean.

Yoga Journal's San Francisco Conference is one of the Yoga community's premier gatherings.  There are lots of fantastic opportunities to meet and connect with other yoga students, teachers and business owners.  And with all this connecting, there seems to be lots of paper... brochures, post cards, and flyers.

 

In years past, an awful mess has been created, as various surface areas have been overwhelmed by this paper marketing material. Much of it ended up in the trash as the conference and hotel staffs struggled to keep public areas presentable.

 

Green Yoga will provide a community service by creating a clean and orderly location for the placement of paper marketing materials. Through a deposit-for-placement system we will ensure that marketers take responsibility for their materials, and that there is a minimum amount of paper wasted.
